This is your chance to kick-start an exciting career while studying for a Civil Engineering degree at Coventry University. What You’ll Be Doing As an Apprentice Civil Engineer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our earthworks are delivered right, first time, every time. You’ll work on a rotational pattern of 3 weeks on site and 1 week at university, giving you the perfect balance of academic learning and real-world experience. During your apprenticeship, you’ll grow into the role of a Blackwell Engineer by: • Setting out and surveying earthworks using advanced GNSS technology, • Reviewing 3D machine control models and technical drawings, • Working closely with site teams to plan safe, efficient construction methods, • Preparing essential documentation, including RAMS and QA plans, • Supporting site management with short-term planning and commercial tasks This role is hands-on gaining meaningful engineering experience from day one.
