Job Type: Full time position, on a shift basis, Monday - Sunday (7am-5pm weekdays & weekends 9am-3pm) Main roles will include; - Preparation and execution of a wide range of hot/cold drinks. - Preparation, construction and maintenance of a pastry & cake display. Key understanding of various dietary requirements/allergens. - Preparation and execution of menu food items including: sourdough toasties/bagels, and savoury/sweet brunch options. - Greeting customers, taking orders and serving food/drink items. - Cleaning work areas, utensils & equipment. Turning down equipment and FOH/BOH at the end of the day, in preparation for the following day. - A sense of humour is a plus :) The ideal candidate should have exceptional customer service skills, show an excellent understanding of espresso shot assessment, grinder adjustment & ability to texture milk consistently, and have a natural passion for creative food curation and execution. While being a chef is not crucial, a general understanding of food preparation and construction is essential. What you will be doing: Our Handyman or Maintenance Technician at Badiani plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our gelato stores by managing maintenance tasks and promptly addressing equipment issues. This position requires a versatile individual who can effectively handle both maintenance responsibilities and on-site repairs across multiple locations. Key Responsibilities: - Maintenance Management Develop and execute a comprehensive maintenance schedule for all Badiani locations to ensure optimal functionality of equipment and facilities. Conduct regular inspections of equipment, machinery, and facilities to identify any maintenance needs or safety concerns. Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialised repairs or maintenance services when necessary. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and service contracts - On-site Repairs Respond promptly to maintenance requests from store managers or staff to address equipment malfunctions or breakdowns. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, or plumbing issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency. Perform routine repairs and preventive maintenance tasks on coffee machines, refrigeration units, and other equipment as needed. Troubleshoot equipment problems and provide technical support to store personnel as required. - Inventory Management Monitor inventory levels of spare parts, tools, and supplies necessary for maintenance and repairs. - Health & Safety Compliance Adhere to all health and safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment for employees and customers. Conduct regular safety inspections and implement corrective actions to address any identified hazards or compliance issues. Ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out following industry standards. Key Requirements: Proven experience in maintenance and repair work, preferably in a hospitality or retail environment. Strong technical skills in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with store teams and external vendors. We are currently in need of a skilled Car Mechanic to match the expansion of our business and to meet the enhanced customers’ demand. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · To Communicates with internal/external clients to determine customer’s needs. · To visually checks, test drives or uses test equipment to diagnose engine and mechanical faults. · To removes, dismantles repairs and replaces defective parts and prepares new parts using appropriate tools. · To reassembles, tests, adjusts and tunes the appropriate parts, systems or entire engine. · To carries out routine maintenance checks on oil and air filters, brakes and other vehicle parts/systems. · To diagnoses faults in electrical/electronic circuitry, removes faulty components and fits replacements. · To checks condition of electrical/electronic systems and carries out servicing tasks. · To repairs and services air conditioning, heating and engine-cooling systems. · To repair Choose the most appropriate Parts/Machine.
