Location: Irvine Permanent – 39 hours per week (Days & Nights) ⏰ Hours: Days: Mon–Thu 07:30–16:30 / Fri 07:30–12:30 Nights: Mon 22:30–07:30 / Tue–Thu (into Fri) 21:30–07:30 Brief Description Teleios is recruiting a CNC Machine Operator to support a well-established engineering operation. This role is ideal for a skilled machinist who can work to extremely high precision standards and produce components that meet strict customer and quality requirements. About You The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled CNC machinist who can work independently, interpret complex engineering drawings and produce components to exacting standards. They will be detail-focused, adaptable, and confident working with heavy components and advanced CNC machinery. A strong understanding of tooling, feeds, speeds and machining high-grade materials will set them up for success in this role. About the Role • Manufacture precision components from engineering drawings, • Work to company quality standards and customer specifications, • Interpret technical drawings accurately to meet required tolerances, • Produce components within estimated production times, • Machine high-grade materials where required, • Maintain excellent housekeeping and ensure a safe, clean work environment, • Support continuous improvements and problem-solving within the machine shop Essential Experience • Minimum 3 years post-apprenticeship CNC machining experience, • Experience machining medium to heavy components, • Competent in setting and programming Mazatrol Milling Machining Centres, • Skilled in operating CNC Horizontal & Vertical Borers, Machining Centres or Mill-Turn machines, • Strong understanding of tooling applications, feed/speed settings and machine tool capability, • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, • Able to meet precision standards within estimated production times Desired Experience • Experience machining high-grade materials e.g. Inconel 718, • Exposure to machining within a highly regulated engineering/manufacturing environment, • Experience working to strict quality procedures, • Strong problem-solving approach and adaptability If you’re interested in this role, click ‘apply now’ to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
