That means you could be working 80% of your usual hours, while still earning 100% of your pay. Job Title: Regional Director Salary: Up to £110,000 per annum + Car Allowance. Location: Hybrid and home based with regular travel. Contract: Permanent Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Mon-Fri 9-5 The Role: To support the Regional Director in the strategic and operational leadership. The Assistant Regional Director will contribute to ensuring that schools achieve their development plans, meet group-wide expectations, and deliver excellent outcomes for children and young people. The role provides additional leadership capacity within the region and ensures consistent oversight across multiple sites, with a focus on quality, staff wellbeing, financial performance, and growth. What you'll do: • Support the Regional Director in the overall leadership and management of schools across Northern England., • Contribute to maintaining and improving quality standards, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance., • Assist with monitoring financial performance, budgets, and sustainability targets., • Provide support and challenge to school leaders, promoting a culture of accountability and improvement., • Help embed OFG/Options values, policies, and frameworks across the region., • Lead and support change initiatives to deliver continuous improvement., • Act as a link between schools and central services, ensuring strong communication and collaborative working., • Deputise for the Regional Director when required. What we're looking for: • Proven senior leadership experience in education or another regulated environment., • Experience in supporting or leading multi-site teams or services., • Demonstrated ability to improve performance and deliver sustainable outcomes., • Strong financial and commercial awareness with experience of budget management., • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills. Desirable Experience: • Knowledge of Ofsted and ISI or other regulatory frameworks., • Experience in managing change or growth programmes., • Evidence of successful collaboration with external partners or commissioners., • Professional qualification in leadership/management (e.g. NPQH, MBA) Skills & Qualifications • Senior leadership in education or regulated multi-site services., • Financial and performance management capability., • Strong stakeholder and team leadership skills.
