Civil Project Engineer £50000 - £60000 + Car Allowance + Package York - 3 days Office, 2 days Home - ad-hoc site visits between York to London Kings Cross You’ll be responsible for: • Coordination of work with other contractors, • Liaising with route engineers (discipline)., • Participating in all engineering and development assurance activities so that they result in affordable schemes, and that meet programme requirements in a safe & environmentally responsible manner for time, cost, and quality., • Participating in the engineering assurance process, considering safety, reliability, maintainability, ease of construction, and environmental/whole life issues. Engineering excellence is to be supported by:, • Reviewing compliance with appropriate standards., • Using risk ID and evaluation methods (e.g. HAZOP, QRA, etc.), as suitable, to evaluate and compare options., • Assuring (or undertaking, where applicable) the development of the selected single option., • Assuring (or undertake where applicable) the preparation of the full engineering assurance package required for commencement of the detailed design, and participate in answering clarifications/queries as needed., • Carrying out engineering verifications., • Managing the engineering interfaces of allocated proposals with concurrent work in other disciplines., • Acting as or liaising with the appropriate project engineer so that method statements for site works and surveys are produced and approved to the required standards., • Assuring that contractors’ design, construction, and specialist personnel are competent. (CEM/CRE appointment etc.) You’ll need to have: • Shall preferably be a chartered engineer and have a relevant engineering degree (BSc/BEng or equivalent) with a minimum of 3 years of general relevant experience., • Worked client-side for Network Rail as a Project Engineer., • Shall have a sound understanding of the Construction, Design and Management (CDM) 2015 regulations, & common safety method (CSM) 2013 regulations, specifically the requirements associated with asset protection on third-party, major, and minor projects, always with the customer in mind., • Shall have a sound understanding of Network Rail's handback process, Track support zone process, and Quality Management process.

Maintenance Electrician West London £42,319.62 (incl LWA & standby allowance) Permanent My client is on the lookout for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join the team. You will have the opportunity to work on one of their leading supermarket contracts. The role will involve maintaining and repairing a range of electrical, mechanical plant and equipment in retail outlets, undertaking regular planned store visits to complete reactive, PPMs and minor repairs as requested by the customer (including non-electrical). Key Responsibilities – Maintenance Electrician Complete the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule within agreed timescales and to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately. Complete general repairs and maintenance to customer sites as designated by management (e.g. door repairs, general plumbing tasks, flooring etc) Deliver reactive and planned fire alarm system maintenance. Conduct emergency lighting tests and repairs. Complete general repairs and maintenance to customer sites as designated by management and helpdesk. Identify non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and promptly advise the Line Manager of findings, with recommendations regarding suitable replacement. Qualifications & Experience – Maintenance Electrician Educated to GCSE / Standard Grade level as a minimum, ideally NVQ Level 3/City and guilds 236 Part 1 + 2 or equivalent in electrical installation/Maintenance.
