Decorating Technician – Planned Works Salary : £36,581 plus excellent benefits Location : Chesham (Stores Room) High Wycombe (Head Office). This is a mobile role where you'll be travelling across our property portfolio covering: Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Berkshire, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, Oxfordshire and surrounding areas. You will be providing with a company van and fuel car for business usage. Paradigm Housing Group is seeking a skilled and motivated Painter Decorator Technician to join our Planned Works team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the maintenance and improvement of our housing stock, ensuring our homes are presented to the highest standards for our residents. About the Role: You will be responsible for delivering cyclical decoration works across both internal and external areas of Paradigm properties. This includes preparing surfaces, carrying out minor repairs, and completing painting and decorating tasks to a professional finish. You will work closely with the Planned Works Manager and a wider team of property professionals to ensure projects are completed efficiently and in line with health and safety standards. Key responsibilities include: Completing decoration works as instructed Preparing walls and surfaces prior to painting Carrying out minor repairs and using appropriate tools safely Erecting access equipment where required Monitoring and managing stock levels Liaising with colleagues, contractors and residents Ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with safety procedures About You: We are looking for someone with a recognised qualification in painting and decorating or at least five years of relevant experience. You will have a strong customer focus, excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A good understanding of health and safety legislation is essential, as is a full, valid manual driving licence. You will be physically fit and comfortable working at height using ladders or scaffolding. Experience in housing or property services is desirable but not essential.
