About the Role The Workshop Joiner will be responsible for producing bespoke joinery components within the company’s workshop facility. This role involves both bench joinery and operating workshop machinery to manufacture components to precise specifications. Key responsibilities include: • Manufacturing bespoke joinery items including doors, frames, staircases and architectural features, • Working from technical drawings and specifications, • Operating woodworking machinery safely and efficiently, • Carrying out accurate bench joinery work, • Preparing materials and assembling components, • Ensuring high standards of finish and craftsmanship, • Maintaining workshop tools and machinery, • Working closely with the wider workshop team to meet production schedules, • Following health and safety procedures within the workshop environment Requirements: • NVQ Level 3 in Carpentry and Joinery, • Previous experience in a similar workshop joinery role, • Confident using a range of woodworking machinery, • CSCS card, • Full UK driving licence, • Forklift licence desirable (NOT ESSENTIAL) Summary This is a solid opportunity for an experienced Workshop Joiner to join a specialist joinery contractor with a strong reputation and steady workflow.
