The Role As an MET Technician, you will play a crucial part in ensuring vehicles are repaired safely, efficiently and in line with manufacturer and industry standards. Key responsibilities include: • Inspecting structural, mechanical and electrical components, • Removing, cataloguing and refitting mechanical, electrical and trim parts, • Reassembling vehicles following repair and conducting detailed quality checks, • Ensuring all safety-critical components are correctly fitted and torqued, • Performing 4-wheel alignments and beam setting adjustments where required, • Completing quality control checks, ATA documentation and final sign-off, • Identifying additional faults or repair requirements, • Safely handling and disposing of vehicle fluids and gases, • Maintaining tools, equipment and a clean, safe workspace, • Following approved repair methods and ensuring accurate documentation About You To succeed in this role, you’ll bring: • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in motor vehicle body repair, • Auto electrical qualifications with practical experience, • Knowledge of computerised wheel alignment systems, • Strong mechanical and suspension knowledge, • A full UK driving licence, • Air Conditioning and Encapsulated Glass training (preferred), • A positive, flexible and team-focused attitude, • High attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility Why Join ABL 1 Touch?
