    Sands End Arts & Community Centre (SEACC), an independent charity (charity no. 1191900), are looking for enthusiastic, friendly and hardworking individuals to join our in-house café and bar, The Walnut Tree. About the Walnut Tree: The Walnut Tree Café is open 7 days a week and serves food and beverages to the local community. Offering both indoor and outdoor seating on the corner of South Park, it is a popular amenity for local people and is the main hub of SEACC. The person we are looking for: This is an exciting opportunity for bar staff with barista skills, preferably with at least 2 years experience of working as in a bar. We are seeking 1 person to join the team on a casual contract covering both bar and barista roles, working Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings (5pm-10pm) with some day time barista cover available. Main areas of responsibility, including but not limited to: Opening and closing the Walnut Tree Cafe Taking orders and receiving payments Pouring drinks and mixing simple cocktails to a professional standard Making coffee to a professional standard Speaking and interacting with both new and regular customers Maintaining a clean and sanitized working environment Regularly performing stock checks Following recipes and presentations for food and beverage items Being aware of and following operational policies and procedures Being punctual and maintaining regular and consistent attendance The ability to work flexible hours and shifts which may include early mornings, late nights, weekends and bank holidays Contributing to a positive work environment The successful applicant will have the following attributes: Essential: Previous experience of working in a bar Previous experience of working as a barista Clear communication skills Food Hygiene Level 2 Barista training Desirable: Experience of working within a community centre or community café Can easily commute to the centre

We are building our founding kitchen team from the ground up and are looking for passionate, forward-thinking chefs who want to make their mark on the Richmond food scene. The Roles: We are recruiting for all levels, including Head Chef, Sous Chefs, Junior Sous, CDPs, and Commis Chefs. Key Responsibilities (Role Dependent): -Head Chef: Lead the kitchen launch, design seasonal menus, manage GP margins, and mentor the full brigade. -Sous Chef: Support the Head Chef in daily operations, kitchen management, and team leadership. -All Levels: Prepare and present innovative brunch dishes and refined small plates to a consistently high standard. -Operational Excellence: Maintain rigorous hygiene, food safety, and HACCP compliance. -Stock & Prep: Manage fresh produce and daily prep lists to ensure zero waste and peak quality. -Collaboration: Work as a cohesive unit to deliver a seamless guest experience during high-volume services.
