We cannot offer sponsorship for this position\n\n We’re seeking a compassionate and dedicated Female Support Assistant to support a young woman in living as independently as possible and achieving her full potential. This is a unique opportunity to provide tailored practical, emotional, and social support as part of a close-knit team delivering her personalised care plan. \n No prior experience in care is required, what truly matters is your empathy, resilience, and a positive mindset. It’s a privilege.”\n\n What you will do: \n\n • Help develop non-verbal communication skills, particularly using Intensive Interaction and Makaton Signing (full training provided.)\n, • Support to participate in community activities, such as farming projects, swimming, dining out, and walks.\n, • Facilitate her involvement in music projects, including collaborations with the London Symphony Orchestra and local music groups.\n, • Encourage and enable her to overcome challenges, build confidence, and celebrate her achievements.\n, • Assist with meal preparation and receive training in diet and nutrition to support her needs.\n, • Provide dignified and respectful personal care as required.\n, • Maintain a safe and secure environment both at home and during outings.\n, • Work closely with a team to implement her support plan effectively.\n, • Communicate openly with her family and other significant people in her life, providing reassurance and maintaining trust.\n, • Be adaptable to her changing needs and undertake any other reasonable tasks as required.\n\n The ideal candidate must meet the following criteria: \n\n • Female (due to the personal care aspect of the role)\n, • A valid UK driving license and access to your own vehicle\n, • If day shifts - a swimmer, as swimming is a key activity in the support plan\n\n Your skills, knowledge and experience: \n\n • Interpersonal Skills: Sense of humour, communication, empathy, compassion, emotional intelligence, respect and ability to work as part of a team\n, • Professional Attributes: Patience, reliability, punctuality, emotional resilience, honesty, and a positive outlook.\n, • Adaptability: Flexibility, openness to new challenges, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.\n, • Enabling Attitude: Encouraging, non-judgemental, and committed to promoting equality and diversity.\n, • Practical Skills: Strong observational and organisational skills, inquisitiveness, and a team-oriented approach.\n\n Join Innovate Care Group and be a part of a future where complex care is seamlessly integrated into daily life, uplifting our clients and their families every step of the way. \n If you share our passion for providing innovative complex care, we’d love to hear from you.
