We are currently seeking a talented and experienced School Chef to join our team. As a Chef with our company, you will have the opportunity to showcase your culinary skills and creativity while contributing to the success of our school. Responsibilities: Lead and oversee all aspects of food preparation, including cooking, plating, and presentation. Develop and create innovative menu items that reflect seasonal ingredients and culinary trends. Ensure consistent food quality and adherence to recipe standards. Train and mentor kitchen staff to maintain high standards of cooking techniques and food safety protocols. Manage inventory levels and ordering to minimize waste and ensure freshness of ingredients. Collaborate with management to develop cost-effective menu offerings while maintaining quality and profitability. Monitor kitchen operations to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Requirements: Proven experience as a Chef or Sous Chef. Strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines. Creative mindset with the ability to develop and execute new menu ideas. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations. Culinary degree or equivalent certification is preferred. This position is full time and permanent. You will be required to work Mon-Fri, 7am-3pm, all year round. You will be entitled to 20 days holiday plus bank holidays.
