We’re on the lookout for a friendly, proactive, and adaptable Recruitment Coordinator to join our small (but mighty!) team while one of our colleagues is off on maternity leave. About Us: We’re a medium-sized company working in the childcare sector – so you can expect a warm, lively office full of personality (and occasionally, the odd toy or two rolling across the floor). We're not flashy or formal – we rely on spreadsheets, emails, and good communication rather than complex systems, and we pride ourselves on a supportive and approachable workplace culture. About the Role: As our Recruitment Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in helping us find and welcome the right people into our childcare family. This is a hands-on, varied role where you’ll be involved in the full recruitment process from start to finish – advertising roles, shortlisting candidates, arranging interviews, and coordinating onboarding. You won’t be micromanaged – instead, we trust our team to take initiative and ask questions when they need to. Key Responsibilities: • Write and post job adverts on various platforms, • Review applications and shortlist candidates, • Schedule and coordinate interviews, • Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process, • Support onboarding of new staff (including paperwork and welcome packs), • Keep recruitment spreadsheets up-to-date and organised, • Work closely with managers and team leads to understand hiring needs, • Maintain accurate and confidential records in line with safeguarding guidelines, • Occasionally support the senior team in HR matters What We’re Looking For: • A friendly, personable nature – someone who makes people feel at ease, • Highly organised and able to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines, • Confident working independently and using your own initiative, • Open-minded and adaptable to change, • A fast learner who’s not afraid to ask questions, • Previous experience in recruitment or admin is a plus, but not essential, • Computer literate and comfortable using Excel, Google docs, email and basic timesheet software, • Experience in childcare is also desirable What You’ll Get: • A warm, supportive team environment, • Flexible working hours (where possible), • Hands-on experience in a key role, • The chance to make a real impact in a values-led company Apply now or drop us a line if you’d like to know more!
