This role will see you responsible for : Handling your own varied caseload of both pre-litigated and litigated Clinical Negligence files, including both fast and multi-track matters Deal with cases independently and without supervision from start to finish Support junior staff members to ensure that they are given the best possibilities for success Work to targets set by the firm and ensure that these are met or exceeded at all times Conduct relevant investigations in order to repudiate and/or conclude the claim. Undertaking Court Telephone Hearings Timely and accurate maintenance of all case management, billing and management information systems Correspondence and telephone calls Reviewing files Ideally, you will be an experienced Clinical Negligence Lawyer who has dealt with these cases for at least 3 years. Whilst it is preferable to be a qualified solicitor this is not a necessity, although exposure to more complex multi-track files is essential. You will be confident in litigation, and have the confidence to independently work on your own caseload with little supervision (although there will be a support network in place).
