Learning Support Assistant (LSA) / Nursery Practitioner – Full-Time & Part-Time Roles Available Location: SouthamptonStart Date: Immediate or September Primary schools and early years settings across Southampton are seeking enthusiastic and caring Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) and Nursery Practitioners to join their teams. We have a range of full-time and part-time opportunities available, with immediate and September start dates. Whether you’re experienced or looking to begin your career in education or early years, this is a rewarding opportunity to support children’s learning, development, and wellbeing in a nurturing environment. About the Role Depending on your role, you will: • Provide one-to-one support and work with small groups of children, • Support teachers or nursery staff in delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities, • Assist children with additional needs, including SEN, • Help create a safe, positive, and stimulating environment, • Support children’s social, emotional, and academic development, • Observe and monitor progress, providing feedback to staffWhat We’re Looking For, • A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years, or Supporting Teaching & Learning (preferred), • Experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential), • A patient, caring, and flexible approach, • Strong communication and teamwork skills, • A genuine passion for supporting children’s growth and developmentWhat We Offer, • Competitive weekly pay, • Flexible working options to suit your schedule, • Ongoing CPD and training opportunities, • Support with CV writing and interview preparation, • Dedicated consultant support throughout your placement All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
