The work will involve both pre-litigated and litigated claims, brought under Sections 9a and 11 of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985. Your duties will include: • Running a caseload of housing disrepair claims from inception to conclusion, • Drafting Letters of Claim and issuing court proceedings where required, • Reviewing housing records, surveyor reports and other evidence, • Collating special damages and preparing schedules, • Negotiating settlements and attending mediations, • Liaising with counsel and other stakeholders, • Maintaining accurate records using Proclaim case management system, • Providing excellent service and communication to clients About You Applications are welcomed from Solicitors, Fee Earners or experienced Litigators with relevant housing disrepair or civil litigation experience.
