Our Group Support roles are vital in making sure we can help over 11,000 people deliver essential infrastructure seamlessly across water, energy, transport and telecom. This role is in ourPlant & Fleet department,Plant & Fleet supports teams across our business with their vehicle, plant and specialist equipment needs, offering hire solutions that are commercially effective, reliable, safe and compliant. Want to come and be a part of it? What will you be doing? Youll oversee workshop performance by monitoring and driving improvements through key business metrics. Youll boost workshop productivity and performance by fostering a supportive and efficient environment. Youll lead the 1st Line team with guidance and encouragement to ensure high standards of conduct. Wed expect you to supervise daily workshop activities, managing progress and supporting team development. Youll coordinate and schedule third-party work bookings, building strong relationships with suppliers and dealers. Youll uphold robust Health & Safety standards, ensuring a secure and compliant workshop environment. Also, manage and raise Purchase Orders, delivering cost-effective, high-quality solutions for M Group. Youll focus on Vehicle Off Road (VOR) control by regularly reviewing processes across departments to maximise asset availability.
