Every day, 80,000 colleagues lead the way to greener and smarter mobility worldwide, connecting cities as we reduce carbon and replace cars.\n\nYour future role\n\nThe Product Configuration and Change Manager (CCM) is responsible for establishing, maintaining, and evolving the product configuration baseline throughout the product lifecycle. This role ensures robust change management, configuration control, and traceability from pre-tendering through project execution and sustaining phases. The Product CCM acts as the guardian of product integrity, ensuring that all changes are controlled, documented, and aligned with business, technical, and customer requirements.\n\nWe’ll look to you for:\n\nConfiguration Management\n\nEstablish and maintain the product baseline as the base Configuration Item List. \nEnsure the consistency and integrity of the product baseline across all lifecycle stages (As-Offerable, As-Sold, As-Built, As-Required, As-Designed, As-Administered). \nOversee the handover of As-Built configuration to Service teams. \nMaintain digital continuity and traceability between engineering, industrialisation, and service. Change Control\n\nLead and coordinate Product Change Control Boards (CCBs) to ensure no uncontrolled deviation from the product referential or from what has been sold. \nEnsure all changes are properly assessed, documented, and implemented in accordance with governance processes. \nSupport risk assessment and mitigation planning related to configuration and change management. \nActively support the Project and Service CCBs. Lifecycle Support\n\nSupport pre-tendering, tender, project, and sustaining phases by ensuring configuration and change management deliverables are met. \nCollaborate with Product Directors, Chief Engineers, Program Managers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on configuration and change issues. \nParticipate in product maturity evaluations and gap assessments, engaging actions to fill identified gaps. Process & Tools\n\nDeploy and maintain configuration management tools (e.g., PLM4A, DOORS, PLEiADE) to support digital product governance. \nContribute to the continuous improvement of configuration and change management processes, methods, and tools. Compliance & Quality\n\nEnsure adherence to internal and external standards, processes, and regulatory requirements. \nSupport audits and reviews related to configuration and change management. \n\nAll about you\n\nWe value passion and attitude over experience. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role: \n\nStrong knowledge of configuration management principles, change control processes, and product lifecycle management (PLM) systems. \nExperience with digital tools for configuration management (e.g., PLM4A, DOORS, PLEiADE). \nUnderstanding of engineering, industrialisation, and service integration. \nAbility to analyse complex technical and organisational issues, synthesise information, and propose effective solutions. \nAttention to detail and discipline in applying standards and processes. \nExcellent stakeholder management skills; able to work cross-functionally with engineering, procurement, industrialisation, and service teams. \nStrong communication skills to facilitate CCBs, document changes, and ensure alignment across teams. \nProactive in driving change, anticipating risks, and ensuring robust governance. \nCapable of supporting a culture of continuous improvement and digital transformation. \nExperience supporting projects through all lifecycle phases, from pre-tendering to sustaining. \nAbility to manage multiple priorities and deliverables in a dynamic, matrix environment
