Key Responsibilities: Cut, trim, bone, and prepare various types of meats including beef, lamb, poultry, and specialty cuts. Use knives and other butchery tools safely and efficiently. Ensure all meat products are prepared and displayed to high standards of quality, hygiene, and customer appeal. Weigh, pack, label, and price meat products for retail and wholesale customers. Monitor product stock levels and advise on reordering when necessary. Maintain cleanliness and food safety in the butchery section at all times. Provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service, offering advice on cuts, preparation, and cooking methods. Follow health and safety regulations, including proper storage and handling of meat.
We are looking for an experienced front of house person with experience in deli/ barista/ table service. At least one year experience in at least one of the above roles. The position is part-time initially around 16 hrs per week to include Saturday and Sunday with flexibility for other days.
