Senior Commercial Solar Solutions Consultant About the Job: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Commercial Solar Solutions Consultant to play a pivotal role in driving the next phase of our growth. As a senior member of the team, you will lead strategic business development across the Hard FM, Property Management, Commercial, and Industrial sectors, shaping opportunities and influencing key decision-makers at the highest level. This role goes beyond sales – you will act as a trusted advisor, bringing deep expertise in solar PV solutions to guide clients on both new rooftop installations and long-term optimisation through our three core services: preventative maintenance, panel cleaning, and pigeon proofing. You will be responsible for securing major contracts, building high-value partnerships, and ensuring that Ecovision is positioned as a market leader in commercial solar solutions. About Ecovision: Ecovision has extensive experience design, installation and managing distributed rooftop solar PV asset portfolios across the UK. We have installed over 5500 systems and currently manage over 19,000 installations across mainland UK 63MWp capacity), primarily on behalf of Portfolio Investors, Councils and Housing Associations. We have a strong track record of manging long term solar performance and work with clients to minimise operational costs whilst maximising the generation of renewable energy. Benefits of working at Ecovision Asset Management: • Free work social events including Christmas Party and summer BBQ, • Strong team culture, our staff are our focus, • Contributory pension (up to 5%) with overpayment option, • Yearly salary increases for all staff, • Buy and carry over annual leave facility, • Death in service cover, • Company sickness pay, • Employee Assistance programme, • 25 days paid holiday plus a day for your birthday, with an additional day for each year of service, up to a maximum of 30 days, • Long service awards, • Excellent maternity, adoption, surrogacy and paternity benefits, • Rapidly growing Company with career support, defined progression structures and significant opportunity for career progression, • Flexi working of hours and location that facilitates a work/life balance, • Bike to work scheme What You’ll Do: • Lead business development across key sectors, with a focus on rooftop solar installations and our specialist 3P services: preventative maintenance, panel cleaning, and pigeon proofing., • Consistently deliver and exceed sales performance by driving high-quality lead generation, targeting key clients, and shaping compelling market offers in collaboration with the Sales & Marketing Director., • Provide senior-level market insight by analysing industry trends, commercial conditions, and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions on pricing, positioning, and service development., • Build and nurture long-term, high-value relationships with senior stakeholders, including C-Suite executives, Property Managers, Facilities Managers, Operations Managers, Contract Managers, and Energy Managers., • Take full ownership of the end-to-end sales process – from identifying opportunities and creating tailored proposals to negotiating and closing contracts, ensuring smooth handovers to Operations., • Act as a trusted advisor for key accounts, ensuring seamless communication, exceptional service delivery, and client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle., • Partner with the Sales & Marketing Director to shape and capture new market opportunities, contributing to the company’s wider growth strategy., • Lead senior-level presentations, develop tailored solutions, and negotiate complex contracts to secure strategic business wins., • Conduct site visits to evaluate property suitability, capture technical requirements, and present tailored solar solutions., • Represent Ecovision at high-profile industry events, forums, and networking opportunities to strengthen brand presence and build influential connections., • Work closely with Operations, Procurement, Technical, and Engineering teams to ensure the successful delivery of solar PV projects and long-term customer value., • Play a key role in advancing sales initiatives and business development activities that drive sustainable growth for the business., • Carry out additional senior responsibilities and ad hoc duties as required by your Line Manager. What You’ll Need: • A proven history of generating high-value leads, closing complex deals, and consistently exceeding sales targets across the Hard FM, Property Management, Commercial, and Industrial sectors., • A well-developed network of senior industry contacts that can be leveraged to open new opportunities and drive business growth., • Deep understanding of Commercial Solar PV systems, technologies, and the latest sector trends, enabling you to act as a trusted advisor to clients., • Strong technical knowledge of solar PV design and products, including panels, mounting systems, and battery storage solutions., • Familiarity with a range of solar financing models such as Capex, PPA, and Asset Finance, with the ability to advise clients on the most suitable options., • The ability to take full commercial ownership of the sales process, from opportunity identification through to negotiation, closure, and handover., • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with experience engaging senior stakeholders and decision-makers., • Persuasive and professional communication abilities that strengthen client confidence and secure long-term partnerships., • A proactive, self-driven approach with a focus on refining strategies, processes, and systems for continuous improvement., • A senior-level “hunter” mentality – resilient, ambitious, and results-driven, with the capability to deliver growth in a competitive market. Any offer of employment will require a Disclosure and Barring Service check, satisfactory references and completion of a successful 6 month probation period. Location: Hybrid with some travel throughout the UK Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Salary: £50,000-£70,000 basic salary (dependent on experience) plus a competitive commission package and Car allowance (Electrical Company car option after completing a successful probation period), OTE £90,000+ Why Join Us?
