About the Company This is a contract on-site role for a Powder Coater/Paint Sprayer located in South East London. About the Role The Powder Coater/Paint Sprayer will be responsible for powder coating and spraying of various parts and components. Responsibilities • Preparation of parts for Powder coat & wet spray., • Surface prep and masking unpainted areas., • Good eye for detail., • Clean and tidy work ethic., • Good Timekeeping., • Hanging parts efficiently, setting up spray guns, applying powder coat evenly using electrostatic equipment, and managing colour changes., • Loading coated items into ovens and baking them at specified temperatures and times., • Inspecting finished products for consistent thickness, coverage, and defects; performing first-piece and in-process checks., • Setting up, cleaning, and performing basic maintenance on spray guns, booths, filters, and ovens; maintaining a tidy work area., • Good Timekeeping., • Approximately 5-10 hours of overtime available each week., • Hours of work: Monday to Thursday (7.00am to 4.00pm). Friday (7.00am to 11.15am). Required Skills • Good eye for detail., • Clean and tidy work ethic., • Good Timekeeping. Preferred Skills • Experience with electrostatic equipment., • Ability to manage colour changes. Approximately 5-10 hours of overtime available each week.
