Senior Site Manager Location: Worcestershire Salary: Up to £75,000 + Excellent Package Senior Site Manager – Commercial Development Our client is recognised as one of the UK's leading construction employers, consistently delivering high-profile projects across both the public and private sectors. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to join the team on a prestigious development comprising a major commercial office scheme and associated multi-storey car park. The Role Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will operate as the No.2 on site, taking responsibility for the day-to-day management and coordination of works to ensure the project is delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role on a landmark project while working for a business renowned for investing in its people and promoting from within. Key Responsibilities • Supporting the Project Manager in the successful delivery of the project., • Managing subcontractors and direct labour on site., • Driving health, safety, environmental and quality standards., • Coordinating site activities to maintain programme milestones., • Conducting site inspections, progress meetings and quality checks., • Managing short-term programmes and resolving operational challenges., • Ensuring works are delivered in line with design specifications and client expectations., • Building and maintaining strong relationships with subcontractors, consultants and stakeholders. Requirements • Proven experience in a Senior Site Manager or Site Manager position with a recognised main contractor., • Experience delivering large-scale commercial, mixed-use, office, or similar construction projects., • Strong leadership and communication skills., • Excellent understanding of health and safety legislation and site management procedures., • Ability to manage multiple work fronts and coordinate numerous subcontractors., • SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications essential.
