About the Firm The firm is a full-service law practice with a long-established heritage dating back to the 19th century. It operates across multiple offices throughout the West Midlands and surrounding regions, delivering a wide range of legal services to individuals, families, and businesses. The Role The firm is seeking an attentive and motivated Residential Property Paralegal to join its Worcester-based conveyancing team. The successful candidate will have at least 6–12 months’ experience working within a busy residential conveyancing department and will support lawyers on a variety of property transactions from instruction through to completion. Key Responsibilities • Assisting the team with the management of residential conveyancing matters, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity, • Supporting transactions involving registered and unregistered titles, leasehold and freehold properties, • Managing post-completion work, including Land Registry applications and registrations where required, • Taking responsibility for file management, including updating clients, third parties, case management systems, and online portals, • Drafting, issuing, and chasing contracts, as well as proof-reading system-generated documentation, • Maintaining and updating internal software systems and ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory standards and internal procedures, • Minimum of 6–12 months’ experience within a residential conveyancing department, • Practical understanding of the conveyancing process from inception to completion, • Strong client care skills with a commitment to delivering a high standard of service, • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, • High level of attention to detail, particularly with numerical accuracy, • Proactive, self-motivated, and keen to develop a career in conveyancing, • Competitive salary with annual reviews, • Annual tax-free profit share, • Generous holiday entitlement including additional leave and long service awards, • Company pension scheme with salary sacrifice options, • Group life insurance and enhanced company sick pay, • Health cash plan and wider financial wellbeing support, • Employee benefits and salary sacrifice schemes, • Access to a supportive, inclusive, and collaborative working environment with opportunities for career progression
