What We're Looking For A sharp eye for detail and pride in maintaining a clean, organised bar environment Ability to support bartenders efficiently during busy service periods Confidence handling glassware, stock replenishment, and bar setup/breakdown Staying calm, focused, and proactive under pressure A positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to jump in where needed Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate smoothly with the bar team A friendly, approachable manner when interacting with guests Good awareness of hygiene, safety, and service standards Reliability and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and peak event times What You'll Be Doing Assisting bartenders with preparing the bar before, during, and after service Restocking spirits, mixers, garnishes, and glassware throughout shifts Collecting and polishing glassware to maintain a steady supply Keeping the bar area clean, organised, and compliant with hygiene standards Supporting with basic drink preparation (e.g. pouring beers, soft drinks, simple serves) where required Clearing empty glasses and maintaining a tidy guest-facing area Managing waste disposal and recycling in line with venue procedures Helping with deliveries, stock rotation, and storage organisation Ensuring ice wells, fridges, and bar stations are fully stocked and ready for service Communicating effectively with bartenders and floor staff to keep service running smoothly Assisting during busy periods or events to maintain fast and efficient service Following all health, safety, and licensing regulations Supporting the wider team to keep service running smoothly Bringing positive energy, professionalism, and pride to every shift Benefits & Best Bits Tronc paid fairly and equally 60% of our management teams have been promoted internally.     We are a friendly and nurturing holiday club providing high-quality care for children in a safe, fun, and engaging environment. Role Overview: We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Early Years practitioner (Level 3 or above) to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about childcare and enjoys creating meaningful, play-based experiences for children. Working Hours: • During school holidays, • 8:00am – 6:00pm Key Responsibilities: • Provide high-quality care and supervision for children aged 3–12 years, • Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and age-appropriate activities based on children’s interests and developmental stages, • Support children’s learning in line with the EYFS framework where appropriate, • Assist with personal care routines, including toileting and hygiene where needed, • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised environment at all times, • Clean toys and equipment regularly and ensure resources are stored correctly, • Communicate effectively with parents and carers, including daily handovers, • Work collaboratively with the team and support the owner in the day-to-day running of the setting, • Be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions, • Create a warm, fun, and caring environment—being playful, engaging, and responsive to children’s needs Requirements (Essential): • Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Teaching Assistant or above, • Reliable, punctual, and committed, • Ability to use initiative and work independently Desirable Skills & Experience: • Paediatric First Aid (12-hour certificate), • Safeguarding Level 2 or 3 training, • Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework, • Minimum 3 years’ experience working with children aged 0–11, • Experience or understanding of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), • DBS check (must be on the update service), • What We Offer:, • Full training provided, • Ongoing professional development and qualification opportunities, • Supportive and friendly team environment, • Opportunity to contribute ideas and grow within the setting Personal Qualities: • Energetic, caring, and creative, • Positive attitude and team player, • Confident to engage in play, be fun, and build strong relationships with children, • Passionate about making a difference in children’s experiences If you are dedicated, enthusiastic, and love working with children, we would love to hear from you.
