Responsibilities: Carrying out scheduled waste and recycling collection rounds, ensuring collections are completed efficiently and accurately reporting any missed collections using the in-cab system. Safely loading waste and recycling containers onto the collection vehicle in line with safe working practices. Clearing any spillages that occur during collections to help maintain clean and tidy public areas. Returning emptied bins and containers neatly to the front of each property following collection. Assisting the driver when manoeuvring or reversing the vehicle, acting as a banksman to ensure the safety of colleagues, pedestrians, and other road users. Working collaboratively as part of the collection crew to deliver a reliable and efficient waste and recycling collection service.
