We are recruiting for: • Maths Tutors (KS1–GCSE), • English Tutors (KS1–GCSE), • Science Tutors (Biology, Chemistry, Physics – KS3–GCSE), • 11+ Entrance Exam Tutors (Verbal, Non-Verbal, Maths, English) About the Role As a tutor at Go Tutor Tuition Centre, you will: • Deliver high-quality small-group or 1-to-1 lessons following the UK curriculum., • Plan and prepare engaging, structured sessions tailored to each student’s needs., • Assess students’ strengths and gaps and provide clear, constructive feedback., • Track progress and contribute to individual learning plans., • Help students build confidence, exam technique and strong study habits., • Maintain a positive, professional classroom environment., • Communicate effectively with parents/guardians and the Centre Manager when required., • Uphold Go Tutor’s safeguarding, behaviour and professional standards at all times. Most sessions will take place after school, evenings and weekends, so flexibility to work during these times is important. What We’re Looking For Essential: • Strong subject knowledge in Maths, English, Science or 11+ (this is compulsory)., • Excellent spoken and written English., • Ability to explain concepts clearly and in a student-friendly way., • Reliable, punctual and highly organised., • Professional, positive attitude and a genuine passion for education. Preferable: • Previous experience in tuition, teaching, mentoring or working with children/young people., • Experience with UK National Curriculum, GCSE and/or A Level specifications., • Experience preparing students for 11+ or other entrance exams (for 11+ tutor roles)., • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or teaching-related qualifications (desirable but not essential)., • Experience working in a tuition centre or school environment. We work across three main areas: • Art School & Scholarship Preparation (GCSE/A-level/IB, Foundation, BA/MA, career-change portfolios), • Creative Mentorship for Artists & Adults (developing a serious, sustainable art practice), • Art Skills & Academic Support for Creatives (drawing/painting/digital/textiles, EPQs, essays and English for art & design students) We’re currently seeking freelance, part-time tutors to join our growing team. Role Overview As a tutor, you’ll guide students through tailored sessions designed around their goals, age, and ability. Sessions may take place online or in person (London-based).
