Resolve where possible or provided sufficient information to allow follow on work to be completed. 5. Sampling to be sent back or delivered back to labs within 3 days maximum of being collected, to ensure that they do not become deviant. 6. Support Operations manager in delivering additional works over and above base contract. 7. To Possibly cover out of hours standby on a 4 to 6 weekly rota to be ready to respond to site breakdowns. Key Accountabilities: The key duties of the role are: Routine Treatment water sampling Ability to identify and relay the correct information to enable effective follow on work and repairs Daily Recording of Data Identifying and reporting H&S hazards on site Follow H&S procedures Analysis of Data to identify potential issues Site housekeeping Ensuring the safe and efficient running of the Treatment Plant Using IT systems software to report daily performance of Treatment Plant Participate in a 24hr stand-by rota Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions Operate and maintain chemical dosing systems First line diagnostics of electrical and mechanical assets Clear blockages, channels and other elements of a Passive Treatment Scheme Liaise and assist contractors onsite Make minor repairs to fencing and guard rails onsite Carry out minor grounds maintenance works Experience: Knowledge and understanding of the mine water treatment process is desirable Good use of IT systems.
