What You’ll Do • NICE appraisal pathways, MHRA authorisation processes and wider regulatory reform., • Strategic Counsel: Serve as a trusted adviser on critical policy, regulatory and market access issues including:, • Stakeholder Engagement: Design and deliver engagement programmes with government, regulators, NHS bodies, patient organisations and expert opinion leaders., • Issue Management: Identify emerging risks, policy shifts and regulatory challenges that could affect the client’s licence to operate., • Content Development: Produce high quality policy analysis, market access insight, consultation responses, position papers and senior level presentations, • Reporting and Analysis: Track and interpret developments across UK health policy, pricing and reimbursement, HTA, and regulatory reform, providing clear and actionable insights., • Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues across health policy, corporate communications and integrated campaign teams., • Pharmaceutical pricing and reimbursement frameworks., • UK life sciences industrial strategy and relevant government initiatives., • Global, EU and UK market access routes, HTA processes and barriers to uptake. Experience That Contributes To Success • Life Sciences Expertise: Strong understanding of how pharmaceutical companies operate in the UK, including policy drivers, regulatory frameworks, funding routes and health system decision making., • Market Access Experience: Direct involvement in market access strategy, HTA engagement, value and access communications or pricing and reimbursement projects., • Policy Knowledge: Deep knowledge of Global and UK processes, government decision making and legislation that shapes the health and life sciences environment., • Relationships: Established network across government, arm’s length bodies, regulators, health organisations and patient groups., • Proven leadership in public affairs, policy, or communications within healthcare or life sciences., • Translating complex regulatory or policy topics into clear, actionable strategies., • Leading high-performing teams and multi-stakeholder projects.
