Elm Tree Surgery is a popular, high performing training practice with a growing patient list size of 18.5k located in Thornaby, Stockton‑on‑Tees. The practice is an active member of Stockton PCN and uses SystmOne. The practice offers a supportive and collaborative team environment, encouraging learning, development and personal growth. We will be welcoming a salaried general practitioner to join a team of 5 GP partners, 6 salaried GPs, ACPs, paramedics, a clinical pharmacist, practice nurses and HCAs. • Conduct face‑to‑face and telephone patient appointments (sessions)., • Provide patient triage, admin filing of bloods/letters and timely assessment of incoming electronic and paper correspondence., • Home visits and record clear, contemporaneous I.T.‑based notes in patient records., • Prescribe according to the practice formulary, local and national guidelines., • Make professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems, whether self‑referred or referred from other health care workers., • Participate in regular meetings and support the team‑working culture., • Registered GP on the General Practitioner Register (article10) and not subject to suspension., • Completed Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) and current NHS Performers list status., • DBS clearance., • Evidence of time‑relevant revalidation/appraisal cycle., • Experience in primary care/GP practice (desirable)., • 30days annual leave pro‑rated, plus statutory bank holidays., • Study leave pro‑rated., • State‑of‑the‑art purpose‑built facilities., • Indemnity fees paid., • BMA contract., • NHS pension.
