Supply Chain Manager Teesside £ Competitive Jackson Hogg is delighted to be supporting a Teesside-based manufacturer on the appointment of a Supply Chain Manager. If you’re a hands-on Supply Chain leader who enjoys owning the full picture from inbound materials, material planning, production through to outbound delivery, this is an opportunity to step into a role with genuine influence. As Supply Chain Manager, you will be tasked with leading and optimising end-to-end supply chain operations at a fast-paced manufacturing site in the North East. This role sits at the heart of the operation, driving performance across supply chain planning, materials management, logistics operations and team development. Role & Responsibilities You’ll take full ownership of Supply Chain and Logistics function, with responsibility spanning: • Leading, managing, and developing the end to end Supply Chain function across MRP Planning, Materials and Warehousing, • Owning end-to-end supply chain processes to ensure performance across quality, cost, delivery, and service, • Driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimise material flow, inventory levels, and supply chain efficiency, • Delivering cost reduction and value-creation projects aligned to business objectives, • Achieving inventory accuracy and control targets, including oversight of stocktaking processes, • Managing customer and supplier escalations in collaboration with Purchasing and Sales, • Overseeing Supply Chain, Materials and Logistics related quality issues and complaint resolution, • Setting, managing, and controlling supply chain budgets while identifying cost improvement opportunities, • Owning and delivering annual Supply Chain KPIs Desirable Skills & Experience You’ll ideally bring: • Proven experience leading Supply Chain operations within a busy high-volume manufacturing environment, • Strong people leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, develop, and performance manage teams, • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence cross-functionally, • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capability, • Experience using MRP/ERP systems (SAP experience advantageous), • A data-driven, structured approach with strong commercial awareness, • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles (desirable), • Competitive Salary dependant on experience, • Company Pension Scheme, • 25 Days Holiday + UK Bank Holidays, • An extra day off on your Birthday, • Private Medical, • Access to EAP For a confidential conversation, contact Skye Madden – Managing Consultant at Jackson Hogg.
