Manufacturing Process Engineer Location: Broughton (Onsite Requirement) Contract Duration: Until 31/12/2025, possible extension Hours: Standard 35 hours per week (4.5-day week, between 7am – 7pm; hours agreed at business discretion) Rate: £27.66 per hour PAYE + holiday | £37.00 per hour Umbrella ?? About the Role Morson is currently recruiting a Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our Aerospace Manufacturing client in Broughton. This position plays a key role linking the Design Office, Manufacturing Engineering Team, and Production , ensuring manufacturing processes and work instructions are accurately defined, maintained, and optimised using SAP . You'll work within the Manufacturing Planning module in SAP , supporting both serial production and modifications. ?? Key Responsibilities • Define and write assembly work processes , create tooling specifications , and define methods for implementing design changes in production. • Create and maintain Manufacturing Engineering Dossiers , ensuring alignment and consistency with design documentation. • Launch parts and assemblies , provide on-site support, and prepare additional work instructions to address production disruptions or breakdowns. • Analyse deviation measurements and anomaly statuses, propose optimisations, and write concessions as required. • Participate in defining products, production and verification methods, and contribute to industrial work-sharing activities . • Develop and maintain Design/Production breakdowns to ensure consistency between reference elements, define manufacturing schedules, and manage interface specifications. • Review design dossiers and issue technical queries where necessary. Required Skills & Experience • Strong knowledge of assembly systems, machining processes , and/or manual assembly methods . • Proven experience in work preparation or industrialisation within a manufacturing or aerospace environment. • SAP experience/understanding is essential , particularly within the Manufacturing Planning module. • Confident in MS Office or Google Workspace tools. • Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and teamwork skills, with a proactive and curious mindset.
