Group Financial Reporting Manager | Chorley | £70,000 + bonus | PE-Backed | 1 Day in Office \n Axon Moore is delighted to be working with a fast-growing, private equity-backed business in Lancashire to recruit a Group Financial Reporting Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-calibre finance team in a role that offers broad exposure, genuine progression, and the chance to work directly with an ambitious CFO. \n This role will lead a team of both qualified and part-qualified accountants, ensuring high standards of financial reporting and controls across the group. Alongside the core reporting responsibilities, the successful candidate will be heavily involved in a range of high-profile and confidential projects, including M&A activity, system improvements and process development. \n The role: \n\n • As a non-month end focused role, this role will be hands on with a lot of projects on the back of acquisitions, and aslo general group improvement leading up to a sale\n, • Colloborate with a strong team of qualified and non-qualified accountants, from CFO to Clerk\n, • Partner with the CFO on strategic initiatives and board-level projects.\n, • Work with founders of newly acquired businesses.\n, • Work with junior staff to implement best-practice\n, • Drive improvements across reporting processes, systems and internal controls\n\n What we’re looking for: \n\n • ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified with strong technical accounting experience (practice-trained preferred)\n, • Proven experience in group financial reporting and consolidations\n, • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders\n, • Ambitious and commercially minded, eager to gain PE and M&A exposure\n, • Happy to be office-based 4 days per week\n\n This is a career-defining opportunity for an ambitious accountant to fast-track their career in a private equity-backed environment, gaining direct exposure to high-value projects and a CFO mentor. \n To apply, please follow the link or contact Dan Calland at Axon Moore’s Lancashire office.
