KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES • Installing network hardware, components and cabling., • Trouble shooting and resolving issues with network cabling, copper and fibre., • Inspecting and testing copper and fibre optic lines to ensure they adhere to industry standards., • Ability to rack and stack networking hardware within onsite and off-site racks in accordance with requirements., • Ability to provide technical support through various means of communication., • Collaborate easily with network engineers and project managers., • Assisting network engineers with network design, implementation and problem resolution., • Be able to cable networking rooms and racks to data centre cabling requirements and standards., • Create site survey reports on MDF and IDF readiness including power & cooling and rack status., • Perform both Pre and Post Wifi surveys using industry standard software and equipment., • Meet quality, productivity, turnaround time and other expectations.
