The Best Connection are recruiting Production Operatives for our client a well established and highly respected manufacturer of fresh meat and deli products. Candidates will be handling fresh meat, including Pork products in a controlled environment and will be working with a friendly team many of whom have worked happily at the site for many years. The roles are offered with the following shift pattern - Pay rates are £12.21 per hour Monday - Friday 08:00 - 20:00hrs - Food Production Operative roles Monday - Friday 06:00 - 14:30hrs - Hygiene/Cleaning Operative roles Monday - Friday 14:00 - 19:30hrs - Food Production Operative roles Transport is available for the AM shift from Bedford/Luton Pick up points - please contact the branch for further information. Responsibilities of the Food Production/ Hygiene Operative roles include: Prepare raw meat products and pastry products to specification and production targets Clean and sanitise all equipment and utensils post and pre production to the highest standards Follow all health and safety and food hygiene protocol reporting any hazards or concerns to management. Work collaboratively with the team, and carry out other duties as required including cleaning and sanitising. Wear required PPE at all times Requirements of the Food Production/ Hygiene Operative: Follow all PPE Food production guidelines, and hygiene protocol at all times Be able to commit to 12 hour/8 hour shift patterns on an on-going basis. Have own reliable transport or live locally to fit in with shift requirements Have a positive can - do attitude with good communication skills Happy to work in chilled environment as required.
