Project Overview: This role supports a major aviation capital programme delivered within a live operational airport environment. Job Summary: The Design Manager (Airfield) manages the multi-disciplinary design team for the Airfield strategy. Ensure design meets the client and DCO requirements and all deliverables are coordinated into the overall design solution, ensuring designs meet technical, regulatory, safety and value-for-money requirements throughout design, construction and handover. Major Responsibilities: Lead design management from project inception through delivery and handover? Develop and manage project scope and design briefs? Manage external design consultants and design & build contractors Ensure compliance with airside standards and regulatory requirements? Coordinate design changes and support construction and commissioning activities? Support statutory Principal Designer duties where applicable? Develop and lead the design management team? Liaise closely with construction teams to ensure safe and efficient delivery Education and Experience Requirements: Requires a bachelor's or master's degree (or international equivalent) and usually 13-15 years of relevant experience or 17-19 years of relevant work experience Typically 10+ years experience design or design management? Hands-on Project Controls Manager required for a long term contract opportunity based in West London. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a complex engineering construction programme. Key Responsibilities: Manage project controls for the programme, including schedule, cost and performance data. Analyse and extract P6 programme data for reporting, dashboards and KPIs. Build Power BI reporting tools and support business intelligence outputs. Track performance metrics including SPI, progress trends, earned value, curve values and forecasts. This is initially a temporary position with strong potential to become permanent, offering a unique opportunity to be involved from early-stage fit-out through to full operational readiness and steady-state operations. You will play a key role in managing safe electrical isolations, LV switching, and Permit to Work (PTW) systems, while supporting contractors and engineering teams in a highly advanced, smart building environment. Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (service and repair) £52 - £55k per annum & overtime, vehicle/ fuel card & package My client is seeking a skilled and reliable Heating Engineer to join our dedicated team at Hammersmith, St Mary's & Charing Cross Hospitals. The ideal engineer will have experience in maintaining, repairing, and installing Low Temperature Hot Water, Medium Temperature Hot Water & Steam Systems. Qualifications & Experience: Proven experience as a heating engineer, preferably in a healthcare & commercial setting. Commercial plant room experience. Strong knowledge of various heating/ hot water systems and controls. Relevant certifications (NVQ Level 2/3, or equivalent). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Various Tasks to be carried out; Monthly PPM and reactive visits relating to plant; Heating & Hot water Calorifiers, Plate Heat Exchangers. Removing bundles from calorifiers to allow inspection/ de-scaling. Upgrading system components; gauges, safety valves etc. Replacement of key system components on various system; Pumps, motorised valves, modulators, slam shuts, plate packs. Re-pipe works when system fails. Re-pipe works during project works. Various system upgrades due to the age of the systems. Key Responsibilities: Conduct regular inspections and servicing of all heating systems to ensure optimal performance. Respond quickly to heating-related emergencies or system failures. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs via job reporting & good communication with their supervisor/ manager. Work closely with other staff when upgrades are taking place within Hospital wards. Feed all site/ system recommendations back to their line manager. Open to be working at multiple sites in 1 day. Jobs can be very Ad-hoc on these premises due to the age of the building, emergencies can come in at any time.
