SEN Teacher Location: Essex, East London Contract: Full-time | Term-time only Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm Start Date: ASAP Pay: £150 to £200 per day Are you passionate about supporting children with SEN and SEMH needs? Are you looking for a role in a SEN and SEMH secondary school with students with minor and challenging behaviour. About the School This is a SEN and SEMH school with students age 11 to 16 years old, with minor and challenging behaviour. The school is looking for a SEN Teacher to join and support their current team. The school is a small site with only 30 students, with 3 to 5 students per class, supported with SEN Teaching Assistants. The Role As a SEN Teacher, you will: Teach English, Maths and Science at Secondary level. Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils Encourage engagement, confidence and positive learning behaviours Provide 1:1 and small-group support both inside and outside the classroom Work closely with class teachers, the SENCO and head teacher. Promote emotional regulation, resilience and positive behaviour Help maintain a calm, safe and inclusive learning environmentThis role provides valuable experience to anyone looking to gain experience in a Secondary school setting.
