General Accountabilities: • Assist and supervise the agreed standard of food service during shift., • Liaise and co-operate effectively with all other associated members of staff in relation to all aspects of the production and service of food., • Assist in the supervision of suitable and adequate training for all staff in the department., • Promote the safe use of the kitchen, its equipment and building under the Health and Safety at Work acts, Hygiene and other regulations., • To check all prepared mis en place and food stocks (including dry stores) and replenish as necessary, and inform Head Chef or Sous Chef of any relevant shortages., • To assist in the prevention of pilferage from the dry stores and refrigeration within the department., • To control wastage by maintaining the correct stock levels and rotation from dry stores and avoid the over production of food and mis en place., • To be aware of the required food cost percentage and run the section within these guidelines at all times., • To assist other sections of the kitchen in the production and service of food or the cleaning down of the section as and when required due to the workload., • To remain on duty until the following shift takes over or until you are discharged by the Head Chef or Sous Chef.

This is a brand-new concept from the team behind a proven hospitality business, now stepping into the leisure space. We are now building our founding team and looking for talented Nail Technicians who want to grow with an exciting new concept from the very beginning. This is an exciting opportunity to work directly with the founders and help bring the brand to life - shaping the culture, team and guest experience from day one. The Role As a Nail Technician at Martha’s, you will deliver consistently high-quality treatments while creating a warm, attentive and personalised experience for every guest. You will take the time to understand each client’s lifestyle, preferences and nail goals before recommending the most suitable treatment. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about nail health, beautiful results and providing exceptional service within a modern, luxury environment. Depending on your experience and technical ability, you may perform services including traditional polish, gel manicures and pedicures, builder gel overlays, removals and nail art. Key Responsibilities • Deliver manicures and pedicures to Martha’s treatment protocols and brand standards., • Perform traditional polish, gel polish and builder gel services according to your assessed technical level., • Conduct detailed client consultations covering nail condition, lifestyle, desired results and treatment suitability., • Provide professional treatment and aftercare recommendations., • Create consistently clean, precise and beautifully finished results., • Maintain excellent hygiene, sanitation and infection-control standards., • Prepare, clean and reset treatment stations between every client., • Maintain accurate client records, including relevant allergies, sensitivities and treatment notes., • Identify contraindications, • Build genuine relationships with clients and support client retention., • Deliver a warm and attentive hospitality-led experience throughout each appointment., • Recommend relevant treatments, upgrades, aftercare and retail products without using a pressurised sales approach., • Manage treatment timings while maintaining quality and attention to detail., • Support daily opening, closing and general salon duties, • Participate in training, assessments and ongoing professional development., • Work collaboratively with the wider salon and hospitality team., • Represent Martha’s professionally and contribute positively to the team culture., • Support launch events, member experiences and other brand activities when required. About You We are looking for someone who: • Holds a recognised Level 2 or Level 3 nail qualification, or an equivalent professional qualification., • Has professional salon experience delivering nail treatments., • Demonstrates confident preparation, cuticle work, shaping and polish application., • Has strong knowledge of natural nail health and safe product application., • Understands professional hygiene, sanitation and contraindication procedures., • Takes pride in clean, detailed and consistent work., • Is confident consulting with clients and recommending appropriate services., • Has excellent communication and customer-service skills., • Is warm, polished, dependable and professional., • Can work efficiently without compromising the quality of the treatment., • Is comfortable working within a fast-paced, social and hospitality-led environment., • Is available to work a flexible rota, including evenings, weekends and peak trading periods., • Is excited by the opportunity to join a new business and help shape its culture from launch.
