FUNDS LAWYER - NQ - 2 years PQE - LONDON Brief We are seeking to recruit a talented, commercial private investment funds lawyer. The successful candidate will be based in our London office, but we work on a cross-office basis so the candidate will have opportunities to work with colleagues in Scotland and our international offices including funds teams in Luxembourg and Dublin. Data Privacy Lawyer - 4+ years PQE Location: London, Manchester, Edinburgh or Glasgow Brief We are currently looking to recruit a 4+ years PQE Data Privacy Lawyer to join our market-leading international Technology, Media & Telecoms ("TMT") practice specialising in technology with a particular focus on data privacy. This role may be based in London, Manchester, Edinburgh or Glasgow. Background to the Role The TMT practice is a diverse practice dealing with transactional, dispute and advisory work. The data privacy team sits within TMT and is comprised of over 50 partners, legal directors and lawyers working across a network of offices in Amsterdam, Belfast, Birmingham, Dubai, Dublin, Edinburgh, Frankfurt, Glasgow, Hong Kong, Leeds, London, Madrid, Manchester, Munich and Paris. The team now plays a key role within the wider business, given the business-critical importance of data across all sectors and the need to implement and document appropriate measures where personal data is involved. In addition, we are advising on novel areas of law, such as online child safety regulations and the evolving legal framework governing artificial intelligence. In parallel, the team works in close collaboration with our contentious data privacy team defending clients in regulatory data protection investigations and providing substantive data protection expertise in litigation matters.
