Our client work nationally installing air conditioning, HVAC, refrigeration, and electrical. This is ongoing work with many upcoming projects working on both NEC and JCT projects, starting ASAP. • Take commercial responsibility for a portfolio of Mechanical, Electrical and HVAC projects., • Manage project costs, budgets and forecasts throughout the full project life cycle., • Prepare and submit interim valuations, applications for payment and final accounts., • Identify, value and negotiate variations, change orders and contractual claims., • Support the procurement and commercial management of subcontractor and supplier packages., • Manage subcontractor accounts, valuations and payment certifications., • Administer and support projects operating under JCT and NEC forms of contract., • Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities, ensuring appropriate action is taken throughout project delivery., • Monitor project performance and prepare accurate commercial and cost reports for senior management., • Work closely with operational teams to ensure commercial requirements are understood and maintained., • Liaise professionally with clients, consultants, subcontractors and supply chain partners., • Support the successful commercial close-out of projects, including agreement of final accounts., • Minimum 4 years previous experience as a QS preferably with M&E., • Strong knowledge of managing NEC or JCT contracts., • UK driving licence is preferred.
