unfortunately we are unable to offer bar tenders the position of plasterer unless they have experience please apply for bartender work as we cant help you but we are happy for you to serve us a beer once you get a job as a bar tender Plasterer / Dryliner Required – Ceiling Overboarding + Skim (or Tape & Joint) Scope of Works We require an experienced plasterer/dryliner to complete ceiling overboarding and finishing to a high standard. Option A – Overboard + Skim Finish 1. Fix 25mm high-density acoustic plasterboard to existing plasterboard ceilings. • Boards to be installed level, with joints staggered., • Fixings to be appropriate length for overboarding into joists., • Keep set-out clean and minimise board damage. 1. Joint preparation • Apply paper tape to all board joints., • Ensure joints are properly bedded and flat prior to finishing. 1. Skim plaster finish • Apply skim coat to ceilings, ready for decoration (smooth, consistent finish)., • Protect adjacent finishes and keep the site clean. Option B – Tape & Joint Finish (Alternative to Skim) 1. Fix 25mm high-density acoustic plasterboard to existing plasterboard ceilings (as above)., 2. Tape and joint all board joints, internal angles, and fixings., 3. Finish ready for decoration. Acoustic Detailing • Leave perimeter gaps and penetrations clear for acoustic sealing and coordinate with our team as required., • Do not leave open gaps, cracks, or poorly finished junctions that compromise the acoustic upgrade. Materials / Tools • Boards, screws, tape, plaster, sealants and sundries will be provided., • You must supply your own tools and access equipment as required. Quality Requirements • Ceilings must be flat, true, and free from trowel marks, with clean edges and a consistent finish., • No visible joint lines, ridging, or poor junction finishing., • Good housekeeping throughout and removal of waste as work progresses.
