Our Tax Assurance & Risk Management (‘TA&RM’) team is a fast-growing collaborative team of around 15 people nationally led by three dedicated tax partners, who together support a wide variety of private, private equity-backed and listed clients across sectors. Our work has helped many clients meet their legislative tax governance compliance obligations (including in relation to the Senior Accounting Officer and Corporate Criminal Offences regimes, the tax strategy publication requirement and HMRC’s Business Risk Review process) and strategically improve their tax operations and tax control framework, manage tax risk and provide assurance to tax authorities and business stakeholders. This is a dynamic client-facing role that requires excellent client relationship, communication and project management skills, and the ability to distil complex concepts into easily understood information suitable for a wide array of stakeholders. Passive Fire Site Manager – FIRAS Accredited (Fire Stopping) Location: Leeds (Leeds Teaching Hospital – LS9 7TU) Day Rate: Competitive (DOE) The Opportunity This is an excellent opportunity for a FIRAS accredited Passive Fire Site Manager to join a well-established fire protection contractor on a contract of up to six months at Leeds Teaching Hospital. The role requires an immediate start and involves overseeing a team of between 10 and 20 operatives delivering primarily fire stopping works, with some fire door works also involved, across a live NHS hospital environment. There are two non-negotiable requirements for this role. Candidates must hold both before applying: FIRAS Supervisor accreditation for fire stopping Enhanced DBS check (current and valid) The role involves a mixture of day and night shifts — out of hours working will be charged at 1.5x the day rate. The Role As Passive Fire Site Manager, you will act as the most senior person on site, taking full responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of fire stopping works across Leeds Teaching Hospital. With no Site Manager above you, you will be the key decision-maker on site — managing a large team, overseeing compliance and quality, and acting as the primary point of contact for the client and project team throughout.
