The Role: Technical Administrator / Financial Report Writer As a Technical Administrator you will be working for several busy Wealth Managers (Financial Advisers) and your role will include: Preparing and checking Client Financial Reviews Collating client information Preparing illustrations Preparing ongoing advice reports Managing cases to completion Working with internal processing systems, you will be given full training on the relevant IT systems Ensuring that the business obtained is being processed compliantly and within specific timescales Liaising with third parties on a daily basis You will have the opportunity to progress within the SJP Accreditation framework You will have the opportunity for career progression over time to undertake paraplanning responsibilities if this is in line with your aspirations. Accountability for timely completion of PPMs within your areas and accounts Accountable for Statutory compliance, PPM delivery for both Linaker engineers and Subcontracted services Responsibility for reporting accurate and timely KPI information to the Sector Director via Business Management Planning (BMP) monthly Financial & Budget Management: Financial responsibility for the performance including P&L, WIP, debt and ROI. Develop and manage budgets for Areas / key accounts, ensuring cost control and profitability. Quote sign off for all works between values of £10,000 & £20,000 as well as responsibility for driving conversion rate of quoted works within direct accounts and areas. Prepare financial reports and forecasts for as part of Business Management Plan (BMP) Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement efficiency measures. Business Development: Identify opportunities for expanding FM services within existing clients / accounts. Support bid and proposal processes for new contracts. Collaborate with business development teams to drive revenue growth. key stakeholder and a significant contributor to the growth of the Area / Portfolio attached to any client / accounts within your management, including existing client account management, Contributing to the sales process including change management, new bid, site surveys, asset gathering, and sign off and mobilisation. Work Environment: Hybrid / Office-based with frequent travel to client sites. KEY SKILLS 5 years experience of working within FM, account management, KAM A technical background, with experience of SFG20 Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. 2 years client and people management experience gained in a similar business within the Facilities/Engineering sector. Microsoft / PC literate, ability to utilise multiple systems, extract and format data, trend analysis and report / KPI reporting Strong presentation sills to both internal senior directors and external client stakeholders Understanding of H&S and compliance preferably with IOSH / NEBOSH qualification. An understanding of P&L management and Commercial terms. Previous people management experience including performance reviews & audits and coaching & development. Verify engineer time entries on Job Logic, used to charge client and to generate inter cost centre, allocations and individual overtime claims Export timesheet data from the Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) system and correct entries as necessary after communicating with relevant engineers and managers. Review jobs from a Work In Progress (WIP) perspective, actively progressing to billing stage. Resolve job related issues preventing billing. Escalate to the Billing Manager in need to ensure jobs are progressed & billed within deadlines. To undertake general office duties relating to Billing including: Correspondence and filing Dealing with supplier query resolution Reviewing client queries in relation to Billing and resolve or escalate as necessary Preparation of reports and documentation to assist Billing manager to establish progress and priorities for the Billing team. Undertake any other duties as requested by the Billing Manager. KEY SKILLS IT proficient with a good level of use of Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel. Good level of numeracy skills.
