We’re working with a well-established manufacturing group in Sheffield who are looking for a Business Systems Lead to take ownership of their SAP ECC environment across multiple business units. This role sits at the centre of IT and the wider business - supporting day-to-day operations, but more importantly improving how SAP is used across finance, operations and supply chain. The role You’ll be the go-to person for SAP across the group, responsible for both keeping things running and making them better. You’ll be: • Leading functional support across core SAP modules (Finance, MM, SD, Production Planning), • Acting as the escalation point for complex or cross-functional issues, • Identifying and delivering process improvements - not just system fixes, • Supporting integrations, interfaces and data flow across systems, • Working closely with stakeholders across finance, operations and supply chain, • Contributing to the ERP roadmap and supporting ongoing transformation initiativesWhat they’re looking for, • Experience supporting SAP ECC in a manufacturing, engineering or distribution environment is essential, • Strong functional understanding of core business processes (finance, procurement, production, sales), • Someone who can balance BAU support with continuous improvement, • Comfortable working directly with stakeholders across the business, • A proactive, hands-on approach with the confidence to take ownership, • (ABAP or technical exposure is useful but not essential)Why this role This is a great opportunity to step into a role where you’ll: • Have real ownership of the ERP landscape, • Work across multiple areas of the business, not just IT, • Play a key role in improving processes and system usage, • Be part of a small, collaborative team where you can make a visible impact Interested?
