How you’ll add value: • Lead the development of materials from research through to production-scale implementation, including laboratory and plant trials, processing routes, testing methods, and final properties to achieve product qualification., • Drive end-to-end NPI programmes, leading all activities from concept evaluation, prototyping, and pilot runs through to production ramp-up., • Establish and manage NPI project plans, timelines, cost estimates, and resource requirements, & coordinate cross-functional teams., • Work closely with suppliers and production teams to assess material properties, processing methods, and safety and environmental impacts., • Manage changes material specifications, ensuring alignment with product requirements., • Develop and optimise manufacturing processes associated with NPI., • Create and validate process flows, control plans, and work instructions., • Lead design-for-manufacturability activities.
