We’re proud to represent a leading international ferry company seeking an experienced 3rd Engineer to join their crew on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified marine engineer who takes pride in maintaining the highest standards of safety, technical excellence, and teamwork. Key Responsibilities As a 3rd Engineer, you will: • Assist in the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of engine room machinery and systems, • Support planned maintenance and defect repairs across mechanical and electrical equipment, • Participate in all statutory fire and safety drills onboard, • Carry out duties assigned during emergency situations as per the muster list, • Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and company procedures, • Assist with bunkering operations and fuel management, • Maintain accurate engine room logs and records, • Support the Chief Engineer and senior engineering officers as required Requirements To be considered for this position, you must hold: • 2nd Engineer Unlimited CoC (III/2), • STCW Basic Training, • STCW Proficiency in Survival Craft & Rescue Boats (PSCRB), • STCW Seafarers with Designated Security Duties, • Valid ENG1 Medical Certificate, • Proven experience working onboard commercial vessels (passenger vessel experience highly desirable), • Full right to work and reside in the United Kingdom Why Join?
