    We are looking for experienced, passionate Pizza Chefs to join our teams (in Battersea Park and Clapham Common) for our busy spring/summer season! Our pizza dough is made in-house by our team of talented bakers, and our pizza chefs create delicious, seasonal toppings to complement the fabulous crispy bases! We opened our first cafe in 2016 and quickly built a fantastic reputation in Battersea Park. In 2021, we launched our second site on Clapham Common, and in 2024 we opened our third cafe in Lincoln’s Inn Fields. We are known for our signature menus of thoughtfully crafted cafe-style dishes, bringing a fresh, seasonal and innovative approach to London’s cafe scene. As a pizza chef, you will be running your own section and will be responsible for prepping toppings and garnishes, as well as making the pizzas during service. Consistency and quality are key to our production. It is essential that you are well organised, with a keen eye for detail and consistency, to be able to maintain our high standards. You will work closely with Front of House, Kitchen, Bakery and KPs - we are one big family team at Pear Tree Cafe and we like everyone to be involved! Requirements: • ability to work in a busy kitchen service, • quality assurance, • attention to detail and consistency, • health, safety and hygiene, • compliance with statutory regulations and legislation, • minimum of 1 year as a pizza chef, • creativity, bringing new ideas to the table, • boundless energy and enthusiasm, • positive “can-do” attitude, • availability between now and September, • weekend availability (as a park cafe, weekends are our busiest periods, so weekend availability is a must!) We also work with some much loved street food brands from around the world, who we host at our guest residency series on the Southbank. We have many other projects and events around London alongside our two cult favourite Truffle Burger restaurants in Soho and Marylebone. We're looking for Supervisors to join us at UK Wide Festivals and our Southbank project. Join one of 6 brands or help us host international guest brands. Our Supervisors support the Unit Manager with the day to day running of the unit, making sure menu items look great and taste great, our team are happy and safe and deliver great customer service. Our menus are small, simple and super indulgent. Working closely with the owner and core management team, you will oversee festival and event operations from planning through to delivery, ensuring smooth, professional and high-energy service on site. We trade at some of the UK’s leading festivals and events, and this role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, understands festival logistics, and enjoys leading teams on the ground. We are building a long term team as the company continues to grow, with exciting plans ahead.
