Required from: Ideally April 2026 but open to September 2026 Hours: Full-time (open to 0.8 applications) We are seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious teacher to lead, to develop, embed and instill a forward thinking and research-led delivery of the curriculum, assessment and all areas related to teaching and learning in the Junior School. Applicants should be willing to teach across the Junior school. The role involves a reduced teaching timetable alongside leadership responsibilities. Working with the Head of Junior School, Pastoral Deputy Head of Junior School and Key stage leaders on the Junior Leadership Team, the Deputy Head Academic will have strategic opportunities in the Junior School and have a lens on the whole school as a member of the Extended Senior Leadership Team. They will lead on assessment, working closely with other JSLT members to track the attainment, progress and performance of Junior School pupils, as well as curriculum matters. They will line manage teaching staff and Teaching Assistants. Candidates from all educational sectors are warmly encouraged to apply.
