About the role We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our Engineering team in a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, calibrating, and improving instrumentation, electrical, and mechanical equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable plant operation. The ideal candidate will have a strong instrumentation background combined with electrical multi-skilling , with experience working on process instrumentation, control systems, electrical equipment, and plant assets. You will be responsible for diagnosing faults, testing, repairing, calibrating, and maintaining instrumentation and electrical systems, while supporting the maintenance of mechanical equipment across the site. Working as part of a continental shift team, you will play a key role in delivering planned and preventative maintenance, responding to equipment breakdowns, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. You will work closely with production and engineering teams to maximise equipment performance, minimise downtime, and support operational excellence. This position operates on a continental shift pattern with a staggered 2-day / 3-day rotation , providing 24/7 engineering support to the manufacturing operation. The successful candidate will bring strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills, a proactive approach to maintenance, and a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly within FMCG or food production, together with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic production setting, will be essential for success in this role. Key responsibilities Demonstrate a Safety First, Quality Always mindset in all activities, completing dynamic risk assessments, risk assessments, and quality handback forms as required. Promote a strong safety culture through compliance with QSHE standards, Kerry policies, and engineering standards while embracing Kerry values. Contribute to the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for repeatable maintenance activities. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the assigned area and work alongside cross-functional teams to enhance production performance. Identify improvement opportunities and work with the maintenance function to implement effective solutions. Work effectively with production teams across all process areas, transferring technical knowledge through the asset care strategy. Liaise with OEMs and external suppliers to obtain technical assistance when required. Ensure plant issues are resolved efficiently and effectively to optimise plant throughput across production, process, and utility areas. Apply plant knowledge and engineering expertise to prioritise maintenance activities, with breakdowns taking precedence over planned work when necessary. Carry out Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) activities in line with maintenance schedules. Diagnose faults, test, repair, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation, electrical, and mechanical equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operation. Observe, identify, and report machinery or component defects, potential failures, and relevant SAP CMMS data. Maintain accurate engineering records and update systems in accordance with company procedures, including SAP, Change Control, and SCADA. Identify and implement improvement opportunities in partnership with the maintenance function. Contribute to the site's KAMS excellence journey. Escalate engineering issues through the Maintenance Supervisor or appropriate function. Maintain departmental 5S standards within workshops and stores. Undertake additional tasks, projects, or assignments as requested by the Maintenance Manager or Maintenance Supervisor. Qualifications and skills Electrical, Instrumentation, or related Engineering Trade Qualification, Diploma, or Degree. The ideal person would have strong instrumentation background with electrical multiskilling Minimum 3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong fault-finding, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills across instrumentation, control, electrical, and mechanical systems. Knowledge of maintenance best practices and Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong technical analysis and report-writing skills. Ability to interpret CAD drawings for electrical, mechanical, and facility-related applications. Fluent in English and the local site language. Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to maintain accurate technical documentation and maintenance records. Experience within the food manufacturing or FMCG industry. CAD and programming knowledge. Experience working in a continuous improvement environment. Knowledge of asset care, reliability, and preventative maintenance methodologies. Contribute to maintaining site downtime at or below target levels. We’re seeking experienced, hands‑on Forward Deployed Engineers to act as evangelists for Continuous Delivery, automated testing, and safe, automated deployments. This is a practical role blending Software Engineering, DevOps and SRE, for practitioners who lead by example to make change safe and easy for development teams. Develop the product and audience understanding that decides what works. When AI makes output cheap, this becomes the deciding factor in paid. Set the visual and verbal point of view for Ash in market. We do not look like the rest of this category, and we do not intend to start. You produce assets yourself on the AI stack, Figma, CapCut and the rest. Not in front of the camera, but you make the creative for testing, not just brief it. We are looking for expert generalists. People who spot a gap and step into it rather than waiting for the right function to exist. Our patient journeys live in hardcoded logic and third party tools. You will replace that with one way to model, run and track any multi-step patient journey. It becomes the foundation other teams build on, and it is the largest greenfield problem in the company. Every client, condition and patient segment wants something different, and the people who know what they want sit in operations, not engineering. Design for them to change it themselves, safely, without a release. Today a person or deterministic rule decides who to call and when. Soon, an agent will read a patient's situation and work it out. Whether that is possible is decided now, by how the platform is built. Steps need machine-readable inputs and success criteria. Capabilities need to be callable tools, not buttons on a screen. Every action needs a reversal path, and every decision needs to be reconstructable years later. Then the hard part: what an agent may decide alone, what it may only propose, and what it must never touch. In a regulated care service that is a clinical safety question before a technical one, and you own where each line sits. Doccla is a CQC registered care provider and medical device manufacturer. This is a TEMPORARY / FIXED-TERM position to cover for a Leave of Absence. Length of contract is estimated to be through May 2027. This position will be based in our London offices. As Audit Manager you will be tasked with performing risk-based audits and providing independent assurance services across the whole of Tate & Lyle and acting as a key business partner to advise on risk and control matters. • To plan and execute audit engagements, alone or assisted by other members of the team.
