This role involves accurately dispensing medications, providing excellent patient care, and supporting pharmacy operations. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of pharmacy procedures and a commitment to ensuring patient safety. Prior experience as a pharmacy technician is highly desirable, along with a passion for assisting patients with their medication needs. Duties • Dispense prescribed medications accurately in accordance with healthcare regulations and pharmacy protocols., • Assist pharmacists in preparing and organising medication orders., • Provide guidance to patients regarding medication usage, potential side effects, and storage instructions., • Maintain precise records of dispensed medications and patient interactions., • Support inventory management by checking stock levels and placing orders for replenishment., • Ensure the pharmacy environment remains clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards., • Administer medications under supervision where applicable, ensuring proper documentation and patient care standards are met., • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimise patient treatment plans and medication adherence. Experience • Previous experience as a pharmacy technician or in a similar role within a healthcare setting is preferred., • Knowledge of medication administration procedures and patient care practices is advantageous., • Familiarity with pharmacy software systems and record-keeping requirements is desirable., • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities are essential for success in this role.
