Workshop Technician – St Albans We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Workshop Technician to join our team based in St Albans. Location St Albans Working Hours Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:00pm (including a 1-hour lunch break) Employment Type Full-time – Temporary to Permanent, with contract or permanent options available Salary £25,000 – £27,500 per annum (dependent on experience) Due to the location and working hours, access to your own vehicle is essential. Key Responsibilities Assemble cable assemblies, electronic sub-assemblies, and equipment cases Solder cable assemblies, connectors, and printed circuit boards (PCBs) Carry out mechanical assembly of monitoring equipment and systems Test and configure electrical and electronic monitoring equipment Repair electrical and electronic monitoring equipment as required Monitor stock levels of critical components and parts Support production with bills of materials (BOMs), assembly instructions, and documentation Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment Candidate Profile Positive and proactive attitude with a strong commitment to quality Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Well organised with the ability to manage workload effectively A team player who supports colleagues when needed Reliable, punctual, and dependable Desirable Skills and Experience Previous experience in electronics assembly, soldering, or a similar technical role Basic understanding of electronic components and equipment Benefits 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays
