Role Overview:
We are looking for a passionate Chef to join our team. You will be responsible for preparing nutritious and well-balanced meals tailored to the dietary needs of our residents while maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and prepare meals in line with dietary requirements and resident preferences.
Ensure food is presented attractively and maintains nutritional value.
Comply with food hygiene, safety, and health regulations.
Maintain stock control and oversee kitchen supplies.
Work closely with the care team to cater to special dietary needs.
Supervise kitchen staff and ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Chef, preferably in a healthcare or hospitality setting.
NVQ Level 3 in Catering or an equivalent qualification.
Knowledge of dietary requirements and food safety regulations.
Strong organizational and leadership skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
